You have been troubled and have not asked God's help.

You have been happy and have not given thanks to God.

It is important that you meet many people. It is also important that you learn to ask God for His guidance and His insight as you meet and learn about the people you meet.

It is important that you think well of all you meet.

You must, most importantly, know yourself. You must know what your purpose in life is.

You will meet many people who are insincere. If you yourself are sincere... you have lost nothing of yourself.

Once you know yourself, the emotional level of those you meet will not change you.

If you offer someone something of value and he accepts, but later becomes your enemy, you are richer for your generosity.

If you accept something from someone with a happy heart and he later steals it back, your heart should not be saddened.

For if you know yourself, you will know that no one can steal a heart that is good. It is always yours.

God understands that your journey through this life will be difficult. He understands that you have many questions of Him. He understands that you may be disheartened and bewildered by what transpires in your lifetime.

But this He shall say to you... open your heart and mind to Him. Even as you have done so to those about you on earth. Speak to Him. Question Him. Ask Him to send unto you His knowledge that He longs to impart to you.
