| FRIEND: | Great... that's just terrific for you, girl! Wow... however did you do it? | ||
| GIRL: | My Aunt Anna has been a big help to me. She's taken the time to talk to me and give me some good ideas. | ||
| FRIEND: | Like what? | ||
| GIRL: | Well, she's always telling me to say short little prayers whenever I need some advice. She thinks God will inspire anyone who asks it of Him or maybe He sends an idea from some another source. | ||
| FRIEND: | Really... can you give me an example? | ||
| GIRL: | Well, my parents just had their Wedding Anniversary and someone gave them a card that I thought was real special... here it is... it says, "Marriage takes three to be complete; it's not enough for two to meet. They must be united in love by love's Creator, God above. A marriage that follows God's Plan takes more than a woman and a man. It needs a oneness that can be only from Christ. Marriage takes three." | ||
| FRIEND: | I think I like that. It makes you stop and think. | ||
| GIRL: | It's by Beth Stuckwisch. She must be a very special lady. Anyway, it's a good idea to think of marriage as a relationship that includes God from the very start to all eternity. | ||
| FRIEND: | Like I said... it makes you stop and think. | ||
| GIRL: | I want to keep God in every part of my life including my date life and my future marriage life. So for now, my mission is to try to pray my way into a good future husband and marriage. Until then, you and I will be hopefully exploring the ways of guys together. | ||
| FRIEND: | You're so funny! Okay girl... let the adventures begin! | ||
| GIRL: | Holy Adventures! | ||
| FRIEND: | Right!! Holy and handsome too I hope! (they laugh) | ||
