| GIRL: | Not too bad. | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | You certainly look much better than you did yesterday. | ||
| GIRL: | Really? Fr. David, how long will I have to stay here? | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | Typically, the stay is from three to seven days. | ||
| GIRL: | Seven days! | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | Look... you and I need to spend more time together before I can say... but seven days is usually the longest. | ||
| GIRL: | And then I'll definitely go home? | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | Before I answer a definite question, you and I need to talk more. Okay? | ||
| GIRL: | Okay, but... | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | And I promise to let you know, as soon as I know, what will be happening. | ||
| GIRL: | Well I guess that's the best I can get right now! | ||
| Fr. DAVID: | Let's get started with a short prayer,
"Dear Lord, please help us today as we try to learn and grow, and be healed from the anxieties and fears of the past. Amen." |
